A healthcare organization in Solihull is seeking a Modality Lead MRI Radiographer to deliver high standards of MRI care. We are seeking an experienced and well-motivated Modality Lead MRI Radiographer to support the delivery of an inclusive and progressive diagnostic MRI imaging service delivering excellence for all, now and for generations to come.
Successful candidates will provide a high-quality service to adults, children and young people using best practice at all times promoting a positive patient and family experience embracing sensitivity to individual patient's needs. The successful candidate will make an important contribution to the care and management of both inpatients and outpatients requiring diagnostic MRI procedures in an acute Trust setting. The individual will work closely with other MRI Modality Leads and the Imaging Site Managers to promote continued development of the service to deliver a high standard of care and positive patient experience whilst being responsive to the needs of other clinical directorates.

The Imaging Directorate provides 24/7 service delivery and has an established track record of service re-design and transformation. As the Leader of the MRI team, you will deliver high standards of care to your staff and patients. You will also be working to build a service that is progressive and responsive to service needs, while being safe and cost effective. You will also lead by example ensuring a close working relationship within your team.
It is important that you can work autonomously and are able to work flexibly using your clinical and managerial expertise to provide a quality MRI service.
You will need to be an experienced radiographer with extensive MRI and managerial experience. You will also need to be dynamic, highly driven, motivated to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive vision for the development of new services for patients.
The successful candidate will also be required to maintain their clinical skills to provide a smooth MRI service. This post is full time and based at Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals but there is an expectation to be able to work across site if required. You will be expected to influence all related aspects of care and management of patients and staff. You must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals and Senior management and be enthusiastic and committed to making a difference, and a commitment to improving practice through on-going personal and professional development.
