We have an exciting opportunity to recruit two matrons as part of the emergency floor programme at QEHB. The Emergency Floor development will enable multi- specialty teams to work alongside each other collaboratively treating patients within the Urgent and Emergency Care footprint. You will have responsibility for clinical, operational oversight and performance of the services within your area. Applicants must be NMC registered with extensive experience in the delivery of service improvements, have a track record of delivering quality standards alongside a passion for patient safety, quality and delivering excellent patient experience for the population we serve. The post holder should have substantial experience at Band 7 and leadership skills.
Shortlisted applicants will initially undertake a Matron Assessment Centre. Candidates will undertake a series of exercises this will take place on 14/7/25.Successful completion of the Matron assessment will enable candidates to be interviewed on 15/7/25 these posts are full time - 37.5 hours per week which will be conducted during core business hours, with an on Operational on call commitment to the out of hours site Rota.
