The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Estates Officer to support the Head of Estates. This role involves ensuring engineering compliance, managing projects, and providing a robust maintenance service. Ideal candidates will hold an engineering degree and have solid management skills while enjoying career flexibility and professional development support.
In this senior role, you will support the Head of Estates across various estate functions with specific responsibilities including:
Additional duties include collaborating with the Estates Manager (Operations) to provide a robust reactive maintenance service through the maintenance team and specialist contractors. You will also be involved in project management, line management of estates officers, and performing authorised person duties for HV/LV, MGPS, etc. Participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota is required.
The role may require participation in a split shift pattern, working Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm and 11 am - 7:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours weekly.
Qualifications: Preferably a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
