Job description

Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment are working in partnership with an NHS Trust in Croydon to find a dedicated Weight Management Psychologist to join the Nutrition & Dietetics Department. Contract is for 3 months initially with possible extension, full time hours (Fridays are essential).

Job Summary:

  • Provide specialist psychological support for adults with complex obesity as part of Croydon’s Tier 3 weight management programme.
  • Develop and contribute to treatment pathways and policies promoting sustainable lifestyle change.
  • Deliver equitable, person-centred care aligned with NICE guidelines and local community needs.
  • Supervise trainees and support wider clinical team initiatives and service development.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist
  • BPS Accreditation
  • At least two years post-qualification experience
  • Right to live & work in the UK
