You will provide leadership, training, and deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapies, as well as offer consultation and support to other staff delivering psychological interventions under supervision. The team includes clinical psychologists, arts psychotherapists, family therapists, CBT therapists, and psychotherapists. We are a friendly, supportive team valued within local services. Psychologists within PTS are professionally managed with good supervision and peer support, and there is excellent access to CPD and strong links with local training courses.

  1. Provide clinical leadership to the newly formed MINT.
  2. Liaise with relevant partner agencies in North Somerset to further develop the team.
  3. Develop processes and procedures for the team in collaboration with MINT colleagues and partner agencies to enhance relationships with local services.
  4. Deliver highly specialist psychological assessments and therapies to patients and carers within MINT.
  5. Offer highly specialist advice and consultation on clients’ formulation and psychological management to non-psychologist colleagues.
  6. Utilize advanced psychological knowledge and skills to contribute to the effective management of patients by various teams within the local MINT area.
  7. Supervise and line-manage trainee clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, Clinical Associate Psychologists (CAPs), less experienced psychology staff, and other professionals.
  8. Contribute to audit, research, policy, and service development within the MINT’s areas.
  9. Develop and deliver training in psychological therapies for multidisciplinary staff.
