Job description

Job Opportunity: Adult Mental Health Psychologist

Are you interested in joining a well-established, motivated, and visionary Adult Mental Health Psychology team within a successful and respected service? We have an immediate vacancy for a suitably qualified Forensic, Clinical, or Counselling Psychologist based in Stockton on the Forest, York. The position is initially for three months with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans for individuals within the Adult Mental Health setting.
  2. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, both individually and in group settings.
  3. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  4. Offer supervision and support to junior staff.
  5. Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services and stay updated with the latest developments in Adult Mental Health.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Substantial experience at Band 8a/b level, focusing on Adult Mental Health.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality psychological interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
