Overview

Would you like to join a well-established, motivated and visionary Adult Mental Health Psychology team embedded within a successful and respected service? We have a vacancy for a suitably qualified Forensic, Clinical or Counselling Psychologist based in Stockton on the Forest, York. The role is available immediately for an ongoing period of three months with the view to extend the contract.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans for individuals within the Adult Mental Health setting.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Offer supervision and support to junior staff and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in Adult Mental Health and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Substantial experience at Band 8a/b level, with a focus on Adult Mental Health.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality psychological interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
