Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Band 8A Advanced Clinical Practitioner for our NHS client based in Nottingham. This role involves working at the Physical Healthcare Centre within a forensic setting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct independent clinical assessments, formulate diagnoses, and provide treatment for individuals with undiagnosed and undifferentiated conditions.
  2. Cater to a wide range of urgent and primary healthcare needs in a population with serious mental health disorders.
  3. Demonstrate effective communication skills to support decision-making among patients.
  4. Act as a clinical role model and advocate, developing and delivering care responsive to changing needs.
What’s on Offer:
  • 3-month contract
  • Full-time hours
  • Covering a 7-day rota, 7 days per week
  • Rates: £36ph-£60ph depending on shift
Essential Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • NMC or HCPC registration
  • Experience managing complex caseloads
  • Experience leading service development
  • Driving license

For the right candidate, there is potential to consider progression up to Band 8C.
