Job summary

Pulse is recruiting an experienced Band 8 Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner to join a leading NHS service in London on an initial 3-month locum contract with an immediate start. In this advanced practice role you will assess, diagnose and manage complex patients, provide clinical leadership, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive service development.

You must be HCPC registered with NHS experience at senior level, and be able to work autonomously in a dynamic healthcare

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
• Significant NHS experience within a relevant specialist area.
• Previous experience working at Band 8 level or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Advanced assessment, diagnosis and treatment of complex patients.
• Independent clinical decision-making within scope of practice.
• Management of high-risk and complex caseloads.
• Collaborative working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Providing leadership, education and support to junior colleagues.
