Job Title: Vascular Sonographer
Banding: Band 7
Location: Epsom
Hours: Mondays and Fridays
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £50 – £65 per hour
Duration: 3 months

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our esteemed client in Epsom. This role involves performing specialist vascular ultrasound assessments, including arterial and venous imaging, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with vascular surgeons, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging, including duplex scanning, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) assessments, and arterial studies. The sonographer will be responsible for interpreting vascular studies, assisting in diagnostic procedures, and providing specialist advice to clinicians. Additionally, maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation standards are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HCPC registration (essential).
  • Degree in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in vascular diagnostics and ultrasound imaging.
  • Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
