Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist - Neuro Rehabilitation Team

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey as a Band 7 Neuro Rehab Speech and Language Therapist? This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our dynamic Neuro rehabilitation team in Croydon for a 3-month contract. Offering a competitive pay rate of £31 per hour, you will enjoy the benefits of working in a full-time locum position. In this role, you will provide highly specialist assessment, development, treatment, and discharge for adult clients facing communication and swallowing challenges. You will thrive in diverse settings, including community bases, patient's homes, and Croydon University Hospital.

What you will do:

  1. Conduct expert assessments of clients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
  2. Develop bespoke treatment plans and deliver therapy to enhance patient outcomes.
  3. Oversee client progress and efficiently manage discharge processes.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  5. Document and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
  6. Travel between various work locations, including homes, community bases, and hospitals.

Requirements:
