Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist specialising in Dysphagia in Barnet, London. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours weekly on a Mental Health Ward with HCPC registration required.

You will undertake dysphagia assessments, manage swallowing difficulties, support communication challenges, deliver SLT interventions, and develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required to apply.
• Experience in dysphagia assessment and management.
• Inpatient mental health experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical assessment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Proven dysphagia experience

• Ability to work independently with strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and report-writing proficiency
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Previous Band 7 Speech and Language Therapy experience
• Inpatient Mental Health experience
• Experience managing complex communication needs
