Job summary

Pulse is recruiting a Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join the Speech & Language Therapy Service. The role focuses on expert assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC requirements.

Working autonomously within MDT pathways, you will lead complex case management, supervise junior staff, and contribute to service development. The post is a locum position with Monday to Friday working patterns.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist.
• Significant experience in dysphagia, complex needs, and AAC.
• Ability to work independently at a highly specialist level.
• Strong MDT communication and leadership skills.
• Experience supervising junior clinicians (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC.
• Lead on complex case management and clinical decision-making.
• Support MDT colleagues across acute, community, and specialist settings.
• Contribute to service development and pathway improvement.

Job Overview

Pulse is recruiting a Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join a dynamic and supportive Speech & Language Therapy service. This role focuses on delivering expert assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC requirements.

You will work as an autonomous clinician, providing specialist input across a range of clinical presentations and contributing to MDT pathways that support individuals with long-term, progressive, and complex conditions.

• Lead on complex case management and clinical decision-making
