A healthcare provider in Birmingham is seeking a Specialist Practice Development Lead to enhance clinical education and support workforce development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing learning opportunities, leading quality assurance, and teaching clinical standards in a part-time, permanent role. This position offers a salary between £47,810 and £54,710 per year, depending on experience.

The role of the Specialist Practice Development Lead (Clinical Practice Teacher (CPT) is to ensure that the underpinning principles to support learning and assessment in practice are adhered to according to Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The post holder will work across the scope of practice within their own discipline to embed quality in clinical practice. The CPT will assist in identifying the clinical and professional development needs to support the clinical workforce as an on-going process.
The CPT holds a pivotal role in the teaching, facilitation, assessment and supervision of specialist practitioners and the wider workforce to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
