Job summary

Healsgood is seeking a Band 7 Sonographer – General Radiographer in Northampton. You will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging using advanced sonography techniques, supporting accurate diagnoses and patient care within a dynamic radiography team.

As a key team member, you will report imaging results promptly, maintain equipment, and work with colleagues to ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to NHS policies while pursuing ongoing professional development and learning

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Radiographer is required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Sonography or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in general radiography and sonography.
• Completion of NHS mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic and sonographic procedures to high clinical standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results for patient management.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment to ensure optimal condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

As a key member of our radiography team, you will play a crucial role in patient care, utilising advanced sonography techniques to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general radiographic and sonographic procedures to the highest clinical standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results, contributing to effective patient management.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiography.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
