Job Title: Senior Sonographer Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Location: London, Greater London

Banding: Band 7

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £54,000 per annum

Working hours: Monday – Friday

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 7 Senior Sonographer specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our client’s well-established and successful obstetric, fertility, and gynaecological ultrasound clinic in London. With state-of-the-art technology, highly qualified sonographers, and a patient-centred approach, the clinic ensures comprehensive, medical-grade diagnostics alongside personalised reassurance. Fully regulated by the CQC, it delivers trusted, high-quality care at every stage of the journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of sonography services, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across the clinic.
  2. Ensure that all examination results meet the clinic’s high standards for quality assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
  3. Oversee the creation, implementation, and management of scanning protocols and quality control activities, ensuring precision and excellence in all imaging assessments.
  4. Play a vital role in securing and maintaining relevant accreditations.
  5. Carry out quality assurance protocols.
  6. Drive quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experiences:
  1. HCPC registered
  2. Advanced Sonographer Certification desirable
  3. Sonography experience in the UK
  4. Experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound
