An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and Registered Nurse to join the Trust's Corporate Safeguarding Children's Team. Applications are invited from nurses currently working at Band 6 and above. The post holder will work closely with the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children in a small team, providing effective advice, training, and safeguarding supervision. Responsibilities include contributing to audits, escalating concerns to partner agencies, monitoring KPIs, producing complex reports, and participating in investigations.
The post holder will act as an expert resource within BHRUT, collaborating with managers and clinicians across disciplines to provide advice through supervision and visible ward presence, ensuring effective clinical service delivery in line with regulations and contractual commitments.
Additional duties involve making high-complexity decisions with the professional network, managing associated risks, supporting performance improvement across clinical and non-clinical services, and promoting quality improvement initiatives.
The role includes monitoring contractual KPIs, leading specific programmes as directed by the Safeguarding Named Nurse, delivering safeguarding supervision, and providing training on safeguarding children and adults.
