Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Reporting Sonographer (Band 7) for a 12-month fixed term/secondment. Roles cover obstetric, general abdominal, gynaecology, small parts and MSK with flexible working considered. Candidates should have CASE-accredited ultrasound qualifications and NHS experience.

The post involves multi-site work across Bristol City and Weston sites, with a strong emphasis on imaging quality and patient care. Applications welcome from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• CASE-accredited qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
• Registration with HCPC or RCT.
• BSc (Hons) Radiography or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
• Provide diagnostic reports in line with authorised scope.
• Participate in ultrasound service across Bristol City and Weston sites.
• Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
