An opportunity for a Preceptorship Lead at a leading healthcare organization. The role focuses on managing the Corporate Preceptorship Program to support healthcare professionals in their transition to practice, requiring a Master's degree and strong leadership skills. Ideal candidates will have a background in nursing or allied health and demonstrate effective communication and workforce development capabilities.
The Nursing Careers and Professional Standards Team offers comprehensive support to staff, from local induction and probation to enhancing staff training, education, and development. The post holder will work within an integrated skill mix team, including Pre-registration and Apprenticeship Pathways, International Nursing Pathway, and Preceptorship.
Avon and Wilshire's Mental Health Partnership (AWP) Preceptorship Program is a 12-month collaborative program designed to support registered healthcare professionals (Preceptees) in developing confidence and competence during their transition into new roles, with support from experienced registrants (Preceptors). This includes:
