Pulse AHP’s Podiatry team is recruiting an experienced Band 7 Podiatrist to join the team for a role based in the Dudley area.

These roles will be in the Dudley area providing Podiatry services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 1 years’ experience working exclusively with the Podiatry population.

Position : Podiatrist
Location : Dudley
Hours : Full-Time
Duration : 1 month, possibility to extend

Essential skills:

  • Recent Podiatry experience of at least 12 months
  • Proof of competency

We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist to be able to work full-time hours for the week

This position is available now with a competitive pay rate of up to £34 per hour.

Main responsibilities of this Podiatry vacancy:

  • Provide comprehensive nail care services and perform debridement, utilizing scalpel techniques and enucleation when necessary.
  • Conduct thorough diabetic foot risk assessments to identify potential complications.
  • Recognize signs of patient deterioration and escalate care appropriately.
  • Make referrals to multidisciplinary teams (MDT) or alternative services as required.
  • Engage in foot health promotion and education to inform patients about proper foot care practices.
  • Offer expert footwear advice to ensure patient comfort and support.
  • Carry out detailed neurovascular assessments to monitor foot health.
  • Conduct baseline musculoskeletal (MSK) assessments to evaluate foot and ankle conditions.
  • Assess and understand patients’ mental capacity, ensuring informed consent for treatments

Essential requirements of this Podiatry vacancy:

  • Current and valid registration with the HCPC as a Podiatrist.
  • Proven experience in podiatric care, particularly within a Band 7 role or equivalent.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
