Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Post Covid-19 Assessment Service & ME/CFS team. This role focuses on providing specialist respiratory physiotherapy care for patients with long-term conditions, including post-Covid-19 syndrome and ME/CFS. The position offers a mix of remote and community-based work, with an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with patients on a 1:1 basis, focusing on self-management, especially for those with ME/CFS and Post Covid19 Syndrome

Independently manage a complex caseload, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care

Provide clinical expertise and interventions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients

Engage in clinical practice within the NHS or an equivalent healthcare provider
Essential Requirements:
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist

Proven experience in working with respiratory conditions, long-term conditions, and breathing re-training
*
Experience in providing group work and rehabilitative interventions
*
Knowledge of Post Covid-19 syndrome and ME/CFS is desirable
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
