A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Band 7 Occupational Therapist for their acute inpatient team at Aintree University Hospital. Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our acute inpatient team at Aintree University Hospital. This role involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in acute medical settings, focusing on comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment plans, and facilitating safe discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments for acute inpatients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and students
Participate in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Minimum of 18 months post-graduate experience in an acute inpatient setting
Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
