Job Description:

CPL UK is seeking an experienced Band 7 or 8a Clinical Psychologist for a role in the Streatham area, part of the Care Home Intervention Service. The role can be full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for clients in the CHIT team, including older adults, their carers, and staff in care homes.
  • Offer culturally appropriate psychological interventions with carers or families when required.
  • Conduct specialist psychological assessments using interview techniques, psychometric tests, behavioral observations, functional analysis, and consultations with care staff and relatives.
  • Select and deliver evidence-based psychological treatments, monitor outcomes, and adapt interventions based on theoretical models.

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, flexible across 4 days including Wednesdays, between 9am and 5pm.

Pay Rate: Band 7: £32 - £43 per hour, Band 8: £36 - £48 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Compliance with current legislation for working in care home settings.
  • HCPC accreditation.
