This role primarily focuses on managing the delivery of the Cath Lab refurbishment programme at QE. The successful candidate will operate independently as a direct link between the QE Cardiology department and external suppliers. Project management will be a significant part of the daily workload, alongside balancing other departmental responsibilities. Due to the evolving nature of the department and the Cath Lab refurbishment rollout, service sustainability and development will also be high priorities. This role offers exciting opportunities for an Operations Manager with exposure to impactful projects that will advance the department and leave a lasting legacy at QE. The role requires an adaptable candidate with a proactive attitude to varied and complex problem-solving. Candidates should have experience in balancing competing priorities and excellent time management skills.
The primary deliverables are to ensure the Cath Labs refurbishment is completed on time, develop the service through planning of a hybrid lab, and support the Cardiology team in maintaining service delivery.
