Job summary

HealthJobs Ltd in Norwich, Norfolk, is seeking a Band 7 Oncology Dietitian to join the dietetics team. You will manage a specialist oncology caseload, focusing on Head & Neck and Upper GI oncology, with the flexibility of full-time hours from 08:00 to 17:00 and HCPC registration required.

In this role you will provide nutrition assessments, enteral feeding support via NG and RIG tubes, contribute to MDT clinics, and develop care plans to optimise patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics with HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
• Band 7 experience in Dietetics, preferably Clinical Oncology.
• Experience with Head & Neck and Upper GI Oncology.
• Experience managing patients with NG and RIG feeding tubes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist oncology dietetic caseload for inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide nutrition assessments and interventions for Head & Neck and Upper GI oncology patients.
• Support enteral feeding using NG/RIG tubes with precise nutrition management.
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team clinics.
• Develop, review, and adapt nutritional care plans to optimise outcomes.
• Offer specialist dietetic advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and evaluate nutritional outcomes and maintain patient records.
