Rate: £18 000 – £21 142 per year
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work for our client based in Leigh, Lancashire. The post is available to start as soon as possible.
What will your responsibilities be?
• Works under the supervision of a senior occupational therapist.
• Provides technical and creative skills for client-centred therapeutic activities.
• Designs, implements, and co-ordinates activities for various environments and clients.
• Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team for house or community-based activities.
• Suggests and implements methods based on therapist’s evaluation to achieve treatment aims.
• Evaluates activities in consultation with the occupational therapist. • Maintains up-to-date records and activity data.
• Plans interventions considering current risk factors for safe service delivery.
• Facilitates group or individual work and plans treatment methods independently. • Monitors clients’ progress, considering their environment and activity.
