Job summary

Healsgood in London is seeking a dedicated General Occupational Therapist (Band 7) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will deliver high-quality OT services, supporting patients to achieve independence and improved quality of life in a busy clinical environment.

You will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with families and other clinicians. HCPC registered applicants with NHS experience are preferred; flexible working is available where possible.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Completion of NHS mandatory training.
• Proven NHS or similar healthcare experience as an OT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' occupational performance and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and adjust plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with trust policies.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the training of junior staff and students.
