An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Birmingham, West Midlands. This position is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract, offering competitive rates.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients in various clinics, including the Neuromuscular Clinic, Non-Traumatic Spinal Injury Clinic, Young Adults Clinic, and Multiple Sclerosis Clinic. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop individualised treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients. Your responsibilities will include managing complex cases, offering specialist advice, contributing to the enhancement of neuro occupational therapy services, conducting ward rounds and managing ward jobs, reviewing patient cases and providing feedback, attending relevant patient meetings when necessary, and collaborating with internal and external agencies to provide integrated care for patients. Additionally, you will engage with local and national networks to elevate the profile of our centre and ensure all therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and effective.
