Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Midwifery Education Team at BHRUT.
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Skills Facilitator who is enthusiastic, motivated, and clinically astute. As part of the education team, your responsibility will be to support and facilitate mandatory training, education, and training within the maternity department.
We're an organisation that is continuously improving, driven by a determination to deliver care we're proud of, and our patients are happy with. We are no longer in special measures; we've opened two new theatres at our Elective Surgical Hub in King George Hospital (KGH). Our Chief Executive, Matthew Trainer, has been named the top CEO by the Health Service Journal.
We operate from two main sites - KGH in Goodmayes and Queen's Hospital in Romford. We have two busy emergency departments with over 330,000 visitors last year. We are campaigning for £35m to transform the A&E at Queen's and eliminate corridor care.
Our patients benefit from our Women's Health Hub in Ilford, an Ageing Well Centre in Hornchurch, and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at Barking Community Hospital and St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub in Hornchurch.
These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing an additional 88,000 scans annually.
Our staff, over 8,000 from 146 countries, live in the diverse London boroughs we serve. Many work flexibly, and over 400 are on our Ofsted-accredited apprenticeship programmes. We are proud to be a London Living Wage employer.
We look forward to introducing an electronic patient record system that will be transformative for staff and beneficial for patients.
