Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Limited is seeking a Band 7 Women’s & Children’s Sonographer specialising in Maternity Ultrasound to join the Glasgow NHS maternity services on a locum, ongoing basis.

This full-time role offers up to £60.00 per hour and provides the opportunity to deliver advanced obstetric imaging, work alongside midwives, obstetricians and the wider multidisciplinary team, and contribute to high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Sonographer with relevant professional registration.
• Experience as Band 7 in maternity/obstetric ultrasound.
• Ability to independently perform and report obstetric scans.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex obstetric ultrasound examinations.
• Undertake maternity ultrasound assessments in line with guidelines.
• Assess fetal growth, wellbeing, and development.
• Produce ultrasound reports and clinical documentation.
• Manage ultrasound clinics and contribute to service quality.
