About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Locum band 7 Mammographer to join our team in Buckinghamshire. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment, delivering exceptional imaging services to patients. This is a three-month position with an immediate start, offering a competitive rate of £25.00 to £30.00 per hour.

Your main responsibilities as a band 7 Mammographer:

As a Locum band 7 Mammographer, you will perform a variety of scans, always ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the MRI department, manage patient workflow effectively, and adhere to established protocols and safety standards. Your role will also involve providing excellent patient care and maintaining accurate documentation to support diagnostic services. The purpose of the role is to undertake, interpret and report ultrasound scans for vascular conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

    • The post holder must have a valid and active HCPC or RCT registration
    • Mammography certificate and proven experience in Mammography.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
    • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
