Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Nottingham is seeking a Band 7 Locum Echocardiographer to join our clinical physiology team. The role is full-time and based in Nottingham, starting ASAP with an initial 3-month duration and an hourly rate of £50–£55.

The candidate will perform echocardiograms, analyse data, and collaborate with cardiologists, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance. Opportunity for extension based on performance and needs.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent (EACVI/ARDMS).
• Proven experience as an Echocardiographer.
• Experience in performing Echocardiograms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures.
• Analyse and interpret echocardiographic data.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
