Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 7 Locum Echocardiographer for Tunbridge Wells. This full-time, ASAP-start role spans 3 months with a rate of £50–£55 per hour.

The successful candidate will perform echocardiograms, interpret findings, and work with cardiology colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care. Required qualifications include a BSc in Clinical Physiology with BSE/EACVI/ARDMS accreditation and proven echocardiography experience.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS).
• Proven experience as an Echocardiographer.
• Experience in performing Echocardiograms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Analyse and interpret diagnostic images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure procedures are documented.
• Stay updated with advancements in echocardiography and cardiac care.
