Job summary

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Care of Older Adults Team. You will provide expert assessment, lead multidisciplinary care, and drive service development with a focus on enabling independence for older patients.

As a senior clinician, you will supervise staff, contribute to audits and quality improvement, and promote evidence-based practice. You will advocate for the OT profession within the trust and support workforce development.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience in leading OT services and supervising staff.
• Experience in older adults care and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialist occupational therapy services within Care of Older Adults.
• Manage a complex caseload and oversee timely assessment, treatment planning and discharge.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, coaching and staff development.
• Lead and contribute to service audits and quality improvement initiatives.
