Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BSc Podiatry or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate study (Master level) in a relevant area (e.g., high-risk foot, diabetes) with experience managing advanced caseloads
  • Postgraduate Masters-level non-medical prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake)
  • IR(ME)R certificate (or willingness to undertake)
  • POM and Local anaesthetic certificates
  • Recent professional development evidence at postgraduate level
  • Extensive experience managing high-risk caseloads with advanced clinical practice
  • Strong assessment skills, especially in wound management
  • Manual dexterity and physical precision
  • Ability to apply research and audit outcomes to improve clinical care

You must have a full UK driving license and access to a car for work. Additionally, you should be confident with IT systems and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
