Overview

Locum Band 7 Dietitian within Gastro in Brighton, UK, earning £30 hourly. Ongoing, full-time opportunity to demonstrate advanced knowledge and passion for gastroenterology. This role covers gastro and surgical wards, collaborates with the Nutrition Support Team, and conducts a weekly gastroenterology clinic. Applicants must have experience in Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition. The position requires full on-site presence with potential for one remote day per week. Must be HCPC registered and committed to full-time engagement.

What you will do
  • Provide expert cover for gastro and surgical wards, delivering specialist nutritional advice and care.
  • Work closely with the Nutrition Support Team to develop and implement effective patient care strategies.
  • Conduct and contribute to a weekly gastro clinic, assessing and managing patient dietary needs.
  • Apply expertise in Enteral Nutrition and Parenteral Nutrition to support diverse patient requirements.
  • Ensure comprehensive on-site service delivery, with potential for one remote day per week if feasible.
