Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Aldershot is seeking a Band 7 Crisis Intervention Nurse for the Mindworks Crisis Intervention Service in NE Hampshire. The role covers a 7-day service with hours 9am-5pm, including bank holidays, with in-reach to Frimley Park Hospital and CYP homes.

Base is Aldershot Centre for Health. You will be an RMN with NMC registration, experienced in crisis work with vulnerable people, and ideally with CYP in crisis.

Qualifications

• RMN with NMC registration is essential.
• Experience with vulnerable people in crisis is required.
• Experience with young people in crisis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support assessment, risk and care planning with CYP and families.
• Facilitate discharge with follow-up care planned in the community within 7 days.
• Provide up to 6 follow-up sessions and arrange referrals to services.
• Supervise junior staff, maintain KPI data and contribute to service development.
