Job summary

Experience working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and a commitment to improving wellbeing through clinical interventions are essential. Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessment and therapy to individuals and groups within the designated team.
  • Offer specialist consultancy to multidisciplinary teams and other care agencies.
  • Participate in team duties as agreed with management.
  • Engage in supervision and maintain accurate records of clinical activity.
  • Support the implementation of CPA and act as care coordinator as needed.

Professional standards

  • Adhere to HCPC policies and the BPS (1996) Code of Conduct and DCP Guidelines.
  • Contribute to policy formulation and review.
  • Participate in meetings and CPD activities to maintain high standards of practice.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Essential: Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Desirable: Further training in evidence-based therapies.

Experience

  • Essential: Experience working with adults with severe and enduring mental health issues.

Other requirements

  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • UK professional registration.
