Job Title: Cath Lab Radiographer

Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester

Banding: Band 7

Start: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £30 – £31 per hour

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00am – 17:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Cath Lab Radiographer to join our dynamic client’s team in Wigan. This role is crucial in providing exceptional care and imaging services to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The successful candidate will work in a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiography services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures within the catheterisation laboratory.
  2. Prepare and position patients appropriately.
  3. Operate imaging equipment to ensure high-quality images.
  4. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
  5. Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety protocols.
  6. Participate in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Significant experience in cardiac catheterisation laboratory radiography.
  • Proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
