Job summary
We are looking for Band 7 CAMHS clinicians. Our team has an Intensive Outreach service, as well as a Crisis and Hospital Assessment team. This advert is for one Band 7 clinician in each team.

This role involves a mix of shifts depending on the team. Both teams are key parts of the leadership structure, involving supervision, service development, and senior duties such as Senior Shift Coordinator.
If working in the Hospital Assessment and Crisis Team, shifts include 9-5, 2-10, 4-12, and up to 3 overnight shifts for Emergency Response Line coverage. For the Intensive Outreach Team, shifts span 9-5 and 12-8, with approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks.
You will work in clinical and leadership roles, conducting holistic assessments of young people presenting in mental health distress at A&E/Hospital, supporting their journey through CAMHS or other signposting options. Key duties include thorough risk assessments using clinical experience and risk management models.
You will support young people and families at risk of Tier 4 psychiatric admission or those difficult to engage within localities, often providing up to daily visits. The role follows CPA and outcome measures, prioritizing the young person's voice.
