Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) is seeking a Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work within Doncaster CAMHS. The role covers Getting Advice and Getting Help pathways, providing specialist assessment, formulation and therapy for children and young people with emotional and mental health needs.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to consultation, care planning, risk assessment and evidence-based, trauma-informed care for families.

Qualifications

• Highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children and young people with complex mental health needs.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team to contribute psychological expertise to consultation, care planning, risk assessment and intervention.
• Trauma-informed practice and evidence-based care centred on children, young people and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessment and formulation for children and young people.
• Deliver a range of psychological interventions within CAMHS Getting Advice and Getting Help pathways.
• Contribute to consultation, care planning and risk assessment within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure care is trauma-informed and aligned with best practice.
