Band 7 Biomedical Scientist Biochemistry Locum – London

• Position: Biochemistry
• Banding: 7
• Location: London
• Duration: 3 months
• Rate: £28.00 – £35.00
• Hours: Various shifts (08:00 to 16:30, 09:30 to 18:00, 10:30 to 19:00, 12:00 to 20:30)

Job Description:
The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy hospital in London. We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory service. This contract is temporary, with a rate of £28 – £35 per hour. The candidate must be able to cover all shifts as and when required (no fixed shifts).

You will be required to process Biochemistry samples using c8000 equipment and perform technical validation of test results. You will need to process samples in a timely manner to meet target test result turnaround times.

Essential Requirements:
• HCPC registered
• UK NHS or private sector Biochemistry laboratory experience
• Biomedical Science qualification
• Should have post-registration experience of at least 2 years
• IBMS portfolio for a Band 7 is required
• Roche analyser experience
