Job Description:

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Kent – Maidstone. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory service. This contract is temporary with a rate of £26 – £31 per hour. Must have the ability to work 24/7, with a knowledge of Roche Cobas 8000 analyzers you will be on Rota shifts including week and weekends late and nights.

As a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be expected to be proficient in using analyzers in Biochemistry automation. If you have additional experience in more manual or specialist techniques such as protein electrophoresis or HPLC, that would be a plus. On a day-to-day basis, you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.

  • HCPC registered
  • UK NHS or private sector Biochemistry laboratory experience
  • Must have Roche Cobas 8000 analyzer experience
