The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy lab in Central London. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service. Suitable histology biomedical scientist that can do proficient microtomy.
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
You will conduct histological tests on tissue samples, involving tasks such as processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining to prepare them for microscopic analysis. Ensure that all laboratory procedures adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Engage in both internal and external quality assurance programs. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, making sure it is correctly calibrated and functioning. Address and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
