The Tamarind Centre is a medium secure hospital serving a diverse population of men with complex mental health needs, risk, and offending behaviors. We are seeking a 0.6 WTE Permanent Practitioner Psychologist at Band 7 or 8A, on a Trustwide Preceptorship.

Are you compassionate, down-to-earth, and passionate about social justice? Do you have experience working in forensic services? If so, this role might be for you.

You will also gain experience in facilitating the Life Minus Violence (LMV) program for violence reduction and support nursing staff through reflective practice, promoting a psychologically informed ward environment.

We value service user involvement and co-production, currently rolling out trauma-informed training co-produced with service users. Our projects include examining racial trauma and piloting culturally informed mental health groups.
