Rate: £28 – £39 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 7/8a Pharmacist to join our team at Carlisle. This dispensary-based role involves screening chemotherapy care prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

You will screen and verify chemotherapy care prescriptions. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with medical standards. You will provide leadership and guidance within the dispensary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience/Knowledge:
    • Up to date GPhC registration.
    • Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
    • Proven hospital experience is essential.
    • No prior experience with chemotherapy care prescriptions is necessary.
    • Candidates from community pharmacy backgrounds are welcome.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Time management and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
