Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7–8a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join Forward Thinking Birmingham’s Community Locality Teams, working with children, young people and families aged 0–25.

Qualified or newly qualified therapists awaiting registration are welcome; the role offers a Band 7–8a preceptorship to progress to Band 8a, with structured support and opportunities to contribute to clinical governance and service development.

Job description

We are seeking a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist (Band 7–8a) to join our dynamic Community Locality Teams within Forward Thinking Birmingham, working with children, young people and families aged 0–25.

We welcome qualified, newly qualified, Family and Systemic Psychotherapist who have completed their training and are awaiting registration. We offer a Band 7–8a preceptorship programme with structured support to progress to Band 8a.
