Pulse is seeking a band 7/8a/8b Experienced Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills to join our client based in Kent. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible on a locum basis.

You will be working as part of a team, providing rehabilitation for men with mental health conditions who require a medium-term placement, focusing on active rehabilitation to progress into future community placements. As an integral part of our mental health team, you will be vital in providing high-quality psychological assessment and treatment to adult patients in an inpatient setting.

Requirements:

  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
  • Experience of inpatient and/or residential services is preferred, particularly acute mental health inpatient services
  • Experience of working with clients with severe and complex mental health problems is required as is experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
