Salary: £35,617 – £43,027 per annum
The AHP team at Pulse is seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to our team in Walsall. As a crucial part of our multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people.
Our Speech & Language Therapists work collaboratively within our schools and children’s homes, ensuring that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care, and support we offer. You will provide consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to the educational and residential teams.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs. You will support teams to provide clinically informed living and learning environments. You will act as a model, guide, leader, and trainer for educational and residential staff. You will conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualized intervention plans. You will provide consultation, workshops, and training to staff. You will ensure the best outcomes for young people through proactive and organized work.
