Salary: £28,411 – £34,580 per annum
The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our team in Halton to provide high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services to children and young people in Halton, maximizing their communication potential.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will provide speech and language therapy services to children, directly and through support to their families and the multi-disciplinary team. You will conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for children and young people in consultation with their families, the multi-disciplinary team, and other SLTs and SLTAs. You will maintain accurate records and provide written reports. You will set therapy targets and monitor progress. You will deliver interventions on an individual or group basis as required. You will develop and demonstrate SLT programs and groups for pupils. You will make independent decisions about caseload management. You will hold responsibility for your own caseload, working under the supervision of a senior SLT. You will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan, develop, and deliver effective services. You will liaise with other agencies and families to provide an integrated service. You will support SLT student placements. You will access clinical supervision through regular meetings, supervision, mentoring, and appraisals. You will commit to continuing professional development. You will support the delivery of training programs and contribute to their development. You will contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of services. You will participate in audits of performance against defined standards, policies, and procedures.
